Hi, I’m Wilf and I’m four years old. Until very recently I lived on Captain Jack, a huge wide beam. Now I live just around the corner, but I come here everyday to see my friends and play.
I was born on the marina and lived here for my first 4 years. The geese and swans are my best friends and have given me a unique start to life in a loving community. Everyone here has loved me and looked after me from time to time – I wouldn’t be me without having known such love and such a diverse and spectacular community.
Thank you Manchester Council for giving me a city start to life in a unique oasis that has fed and inspired my tiny dinosaur sized brain.
